Hare Polish Party Palace Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Hare Polish Party Palace Nail Lacquer
Hare Polish Party Palace Nail Lacquer ($10.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright fuchsia jelly with small hot orange hexes, white squares, fuchsia micro-glitter, and blue shimmer.” It’s a vibrant, blue-based fucshia pink with white square-shaped glitter, orange hexagonal-shaped glitter, blue and white shimmer all suspended in a squishy, jelly base. I don’t have anything similar to the polish overall; Deborah Lippmann Makin’ Whoopee is similar to the base color, and Illamasqua Obsess is also similar but has no shimmer/sheen at all.
It’s very nearly opaque in two coats but there’s a very subtle translucency that allows it to retain its jelly finish and composition. It’s bold, bright, and complex with multi-sized particles and colors. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and it flowed well over the nail without bubbling or pooling along the edges. All of the components of the polish dispersed evenly across the nail and didn’t require any pushing or pulling to distribute. I get a week of wear out of Hare’s formula with minor tip wear but no chipping.
Hare will be restocking their spring collection in the next couple of weeks, so my goal is to get reviews for the new collection out before that happens This was the very first shade that caught my eye but more to come!
THE GLOSSOVER
I liked how complex it was, and I appreciated that it was a standalone shade that still had plenty of glittering, sparkling fun to it -- but you don't have to worry about finding the right base color for it!
