Illamasqua Daemon Eyeshadow
Illamasqua Daemon Eyeshadow (£15.50 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “bright scarlet red.” It’s a bold, medium red with subtle orange undertones–it’s almost neutral but does appear slightly warm-toned against my warmer complexion. Wet ‘n’ Wild Enter a New Realm #3 is slightly darker. Make Up For Ever #158 is cooler-toned. Make Up For Ever #99 is cooler-toned and darker.
This eyeshadow had rich, intense color payoff that was very true-to-pan, and you really didn’t need much to get opaque color. It has a phenomenal texture that’s soft but not powdery, buttery and dense, and blends out easily. This shade will stain if you apply it directly to the lid or over a thin base, so I’d recommend layering a cream eyeshadow on first, then applying this shade, if you are concerned about staining. Though for testing, I wore it alone, and it lasted for eight hours without creasing or fading.

THE GLOSSOVER

If you've been on the hunt for a bold, pigmented red eyeshadow, Illamasqua's Daemon is an excellent option to consider.
